CMR is a 100% Indigenous-owned mechanical general contractor that boasts an established pipe fabrication and module assembly division, with a primary focus on the Western Canadian resource industry including Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Power, and Pulp & Paper related projects.

CMR was incorporated in 2001 and is locally owned and operated in Central Alberta, servicing all of Western Canada. CMR’s corporate and fabrication and module assembly is ideally positioned to efficiently serve all of the Western Provinces, while being able to maintain a strong, highly qualified and dedicated workforce.

Health, Safety and Environmental Managment

CMR's Occupational Health and Safety Program is aimed at prevention through promotion of individual employee wellness, awareness, training, and the enforcement of safe work procedures.

The object of our organization’s Health and Safety Program is to implement measures to reduce or eliminate health hazards and personal injury in the workplace. The active involvement, cooperation, and support of all CMR employees in workplace health and safety is essential within our system.


  • All injuries can be prevented.

  • Each employee is expected to work safely and is fully responsible for his or her personal safety performance as well as those around them.

  • Management/supervision is responsible for providing a safe work environment and preventing injuries.

  • Safety precautions necessary to protect both personnel and equipment must be addressed prior to starting every job or activity.

  • Ongoing and regular training is essential for the development of safe work habits.

  • Employee participation and input is encouraged and management will consult with employees regarding safety issues, as well as respond to ideas, questions, or concerns regarding safety.
